Activist on hunger strike to press for free education for poor Muslim students
Aurangabad: Mujeeb Khan, president of Amit Pratishthan Foundation, has begun a hunger strike at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University, in Maharashtra state, in India demanding free education for economically disadvantaged Muslim students.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Khan is highlighting the educational disparities faced by Muslim communities and urging the government to provide support.
He has sent a demand letter to the chief minister and deputy chief minister, and is hopeful for a positive response.
