Six persons killed, eight injured in Gujarat road accident
New Delhi: Six persons were killed and 8 injured in a collision between a speeding truck and a bus in the Indian state of Gujarat.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a local police official told the media that the accident took place near Anand Shahr on the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway when a speeding truck collided with a bus parked on the side of the road after a tire burst.
In the accident, six people, including the bus driver, were killed and eight were injured.
The injured were shifted to a local hospital whose condition is said to be stable.
