According to Kashmir Media Service, this decision was made during a meeting of the All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference at the residence of Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan in Srinagar. The resolution affirmed the Kashmiris’ unwavering desire to join Pakistan.

APHC leaders and organizations, including jailed Hurriyat leaders Molvi Bashir Ahmad Irfani and Fayaz Hussain Jafari, advocate Arshad Iqbal, Muhammad Aaqib, Syed Sibte Shabbir Qumi, Jammu Kashmir Threek-e-Hurriyet, Itehaad-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Pir Panjal Movement and others, reiterated their commitment to this resolution, pledging to continue the peaceful struggle to achieve this objective.

The leaders praised the wisdom and foresight of the Kashmiri leadership in linking their future with Pakistan. They emphasized that this decision set a clear direction for the Kashmiri movement, unequivocally rejecting India as an option.

They stated that the people of Kashmir are engaged in a just struggle to secure their right to self-determination. They asserted that India has forcibly occupied Jammu and Kashmir against the will of the Kashmiri people. However, they believe that one day India will have to vacate the territory, as the unwavering sacrifices and steadfast resolve of the Kashmiris will ultimately prevail in their noble cause.

They urged the international community to take notice of the ongoing state terrorism by India in the occupied territory and to support a resolution to the Kashmir dispute that aligns with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and adheres to relevant UN resolutions.
