Indian forces kill three including two women in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Indian forces’ personnel have killed three people, including two women, in the violence-hit BJP-ruled state of Chhattisgarh.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian forces killed two women activists during a cordon and search operation in the Bastar zone of Dantewada. One of the victims has been identified as ACM Sukki, who was an activist with the CPI (Maoist) Divisional Committee, according to Indian police.

In a separate incident, Indian forces during an anti-Naxalite operation killed one more youth near Tumar Gatta and Singavaram villages under the Jagargunda police station limits in Sukma district.

The Indian police labelled the victims as Naxalite/Maoists members, who are advocating for an independent state from Indian bondage.

Pertinently, the BJP government and its establishment have labeled the lower-class communities, including tribal people, villagers, Dalits, and members of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) as Naxalites or Naxals. This designation is particularly applied to those demanding justice and an independent state, with notable influence in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal.

So far this year, over 142 individuals identified as Naxalites have been killed by Indian forces during operations in Chhattisgarh, according to police sources.
