Unique identity of Kashmir Valley will not be allowed to be harmed: MMU

Srinagar: Muttahida Majlis Ulema, a joint platform of various political, social and religious organizations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, has said that the Kashmir Valley has its unique identity and composition based on unity, sectarian harmony and mutual solidarity and people of IIOJK would not allow any individual or party to disrupt this legacy for their vested interests.

It was said in the statement that the President of the Muttahida Majlis Ulema, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and all its members have always made a sincere effort that the followers of different sects in IIOJK should stick to their respective creeds and ideas and spread the great universal message of Islam brotherhood, love and tolerance so that Kashmiri society could use their abilities to resolve the serious problems due to which today Kashmir is on the verge of destruction.

The Muttahida Majlis Ulema urged the scholars and preachers of all religions to avoid such comments and speeches on all platforms including social media that hurt each other’s feelings and harm mutual unity and fear of weakening the nation. .
