India has snatched every right from Kashmiris in IIOJK: APHC

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has said that India has snatched every right, including the right to speech and political activities, from the Kashmiris in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar said the New Delhi-controlled Bharatiya Janata Party regime is not even allowing the people of occupied Kashmir to assemble and speak their mind freely but is using brute force and black laws to terrorise the oppressed Kashmiris.

He said the BJP regime, with military and police establishment, on one side, has gagged the media and, on other, the political camp is threatened with dire consequences if it raises any voice against the anti-Kashmir policies of the occupation authorities.

The spokesman said the hidden agenda of Hindutva RSS/BJP organizations has weakened the Kashmiris’ economy and snatched all resources, including natural resources, from them.

To realize the dream of transforming the Muslim majority Jammu and Kashmir into a Hindu majority area, the BJP regime constructed more Hindu settlements in the name of transit accommodations for migrant Pandit and non-Kashmiri employees, he lamented.

The BJP-led Indian government, he added, has also recently allotted thousands of lands to Indian forces, new camps and temples, which is eye-opener for all how India has turned the occupied territory into a cantonment and army state.

Abdul Rashid Minhas said the BJP government and Hindu extremist organizations like Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, VHP and Bajrang Dal are freely thrusting their Hindutva agendas and narratives on the people of the internationally-recognized disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The statement pointed out that the BJP regime was using its military, police and probe agencies to force the Kashmiri people to accept Hindutva dictates.

The APHC spokesman stressed that the people of the occupied territory were determined to carry on their struggle against Indian occupation and were ready to offer every sacrifice for securing their right to self-determination.

He also expressed serious concern over the condition of political detainees languishing in different jails of India and IIOJK and urged for their immediate release. He also urged the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, that bullets and guns have never been able to suppress people’s aspirations and added that Kashmiris’ spirit for freedom could not be defeated by killings, arrests and tortures.

The APHC spokesman called upon the world to come forward and save the Kashmiris from Hindutva fascism.
