APHC-AJK pays tribute to martyrs of Gool, Ramban

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held a memorial meeting at its office to pay tribute to the martyrs of Gool, Ramban, on their 11th anniversary.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the meeting was presided over by APHC-AJK convenor Ghulam Muhammad Safi.

Safi, while paying tribute to the martyrs, said that martyrs give new life to dead nations. He emphasized that we must continue the mission of our martyrs at all costs. We must expose Indian atrocities through our actions and writings.

Other speakers also reitaterated the resolve to continue the mission of great martyrs until they achieve freedom from India for occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

On July 18, 2013, Indian forces martyred 14 innocent Kashmiris during a protest demonstration in Gool area of Ramban district. The protest was sparked by the desecration of the Holy Quran and the killing of an Imam by Indian troops.

The meeting was addressed and attended by former Convenor Mahmoud Ahmed Saghar, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Advocate Parvez Ahmed, Ejaz Rehmani, Zahid Safi, Zahid Ashraf, Mir Mushtaq, Khateeb Hussain, Hasan Al-Bana, Haji Sultan, Javed Jahangir, Ashraf Dar, Imtiyaz Wani, Shabir Chichi, Noor Muhammad, Abdul Majid Sheikh, Chaudhry Abdul Majid, Zahid Fazal, Raja Khadim Hussain, Sajjad Butt, Imtiyaz Wani, Zahid Mushtaq, Owais Bilal, Syed Kafayat Hussain Rizvi, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Syed Gulshan, Mian Muzaffar, Qazi Imran, Khawaja Ayyaz, Zahoor Jaral, Khalid Shabbir, Chaudhry Shahin and other Hurriyat leaders.
