Modi regime continues to disempower Kashmiris: Farooq Abdullah
Srinagar: National Conference President Farooq Abdullah has said that the Modi-led Indian government is continuing to disempower the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir through unconstitutional and undemocratic means.
According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking to various delegations in Srinagar, Abdullah said that the Modi government is leaving no stone unturned to disempower the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He added that since the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019, a non-Kashmiri bureaucratic system has been imposed on the occupied territory, leading to widespread injustices against the people.
Abdullah said that the Modi government is pushing Kashmiris into economic despair, denying them access to basic amenities like water, electricity, healthcare, education, and roads. He also accused the government of snatching employment opportunities from the youth.
He emphasized the need for unity and solidarity among Kashmiris to face these challenges.
