India cannot silence Kashmiris’ voice through military might: JKDFF

Paris: The Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum France (JKDFF) has said that India cannot silence Kashmiris’ voice through military might.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the JKDFF in its Central Executive Committee meeting in Paris resolved to give a befitting reply to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at all international fora.

The CEC meeting, jointly presided over by Its Chairman Sardar Ikhlaque and President Asif Jarral, vowed to re-launch and reorganize the freedom struggle against Indian tyranny. Almost all members of the CEC spoke on the occasion and extended their proposals for ameliorating and well-coordinating strategy to get free from Indian clutches.

The meeting decided to regularly approach the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva and apprise it of Indian gross human rights violations in Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir.

It said the European Union platform will be contacted through French and other EU members so that the EU parliament takes notice of rights violations in IIOJK.

The meeting also decided to hold a webinar on August 2 and invite a large number of intellectuals from a broader spectrum of the south Asian region and also some western- based Kashmiri Diaspora. The objective of the webinar is to further unveil New Delhi’s nefarious designs as it unilaterally repealed Articles 370 and 35A of its Constitution.

The meeting also condemned one-sided decisions of the Indian courts against Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik.

The JKDFF CEC meeting demanded unconditional release of all illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists, including Yasin Malik, Masarat Alam Butt, Shabbir Ahmad Shah and Nayeem Ahmad Khan, languishing in different jails of India and the territory.
