India’s BJP regime subjecting Hurriyat leaders to political vengeance: APHC
Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has decried that the India’s BJP regime is subjecting illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and youth to vengeance for challenging New Delhi’s illegal occupation of their motherland.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement in Srinagar said that the people of Kashmir are being killed, arrested, tortured, and terminated for demanding their fundamental right to self-determination. He deplored that India is using colonial war measures to suppress their voices.
He strongly denounced the continued illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders Masarrat Aalam Butt, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Muhammad Yasin Malik, Aasiya Andrabi, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Ayaz Muhammad Akbar, Peer Saifullah, Raja Merajuddin Kalwal, Farooq Ahmad Dar, Shahid-ul-Islam, Naheeda Nasreen, Fahmeeda Sofi, Bilal Siddiqi, Maulana Bashir Irfani, and others.
However, the APHC said that even the worst Indian atrocities have failed to force the Hurriyat leaders to give up their just cause, and they are determined to spearhead the ongoing freedom movement till it reaches its logical conclusion.
