Essay competition announced on Kashmir’s link with Pakistan for Independence Day

Muzaffarabad: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir University (AJKU) has announced an essay competition to commemorate Pakistan’s Independence Day.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the competition, open to students across Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, aims at highlighting the historical, cultural and emotional ties between Kashmir and Pakistan.

The theme of the competition is “Kashmir ka Pakistan say Rishta Kia …La ilaha Illallah,” and participants are encouraged to submit essays that reflect their understanding and perspectives on the topic. A total of PKR 300,000 in prizes will be awarded, with the first prize being PKR 100,000.

The competition is open to all students enrolled in universities, colleges, and schools, and essays must be submitted by August 7, 2024.

This competition provides a platform for young minds to express their thoughts on the enduring relationship between Kashmir and Pakistan, fostering a deeper understanding and connection among the youth.
