APHC-AJK condoles martyrdom of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh
Islamabad: An extraordinary meeting of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter was held in Islamabad, today, to condole the martyrdom of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh was martyred in the Israeli missile attack in Tehran, the capital of Iran.
The meeting was presided over by All APHC-AJK chapter Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi.
The Hurriyat leaders in the meeting strongly condemned the killing of the respected leader of Palestine and the Islamic world at the hands of the Zionist forces. They also denounced the recent attacks by the occupying Israeli army in various areas of Gaza.
The participants of the meeting paid glowing tributes to the late leader and praised the brave leader for his immense sacrifices in the Palestine Liberation War.
It should be noted that 79 people of Shaheed Ismail Haniya’s family have been martyred. Three sons and six grandsons of Ismail Haniya are also included in the martyrs.
Moreover, participants of the meeting offered prayers for Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, founding president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, on his death anniversary and also appreciated his role towards the freedom movement.
APHC-AJK General Secretary Advocate Parvez Ahmed, Mir Tahir Masood, Dawood Khan, Ejaz Rahmani, Javed Jahangir, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Raja Shaheen, Khateeb Hussain, Engineer Mahmood, Haji Muhammad Sultan, Zahid Safi, Imtiaz Wani, Chaudhry Shaheen, Mian Muzaffar, Zahid Ashraf, Muhammad Shafi Dar, Ashraf Dar, Sheikh Majid, Syed Gulshan, Adeel Mushtaq and Mushtaq Ahmed Butt were present in the meeting.
