IIOJK: AAC mourns loss of prominent figures
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Awami Action Committee (AAC) led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has expressed profound sorrow and grief over the recent passing of several distinguished figures associated with the organization and the Mirwaiz family.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the AAC extended heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased.
The deceased include Moulvi Abdul Rashid Farooqi of Buchpora, Srinagar, a renowned scholar and younger brother of the late Moulana Nooruddin Farooqi, former president of Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith. Also mourned are Habibullah Khan from Sheikh Mohalla Maharaj Ganj, Srinagar, and Jan Muhammad Mir of Beron Kathi Darwaza, Srinagar.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, along with the AAC, paid tribute to the departed individuals for their significant contributions to society. Special prayers were offered for their forgiveness and entry into Jannat-ul-Firdous.
In addition to their tributes, AAC delegations visited Buchpora, Maharaj Ganj, and Kathi Darwaza to convey their condolences to the bereaved families and pray for the departed souls.
