Indian troops arrest three Kashmiri youth in IIOJK
Srinagar: Indian troops have arrested three Kashmiri youth in Baramulla and Bandipora districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, two Kashmiri youth identified as Rashid Ahmed Butt and Sajid Ismail Haroo, both residents of Arwani Islamabad district, were detained by Indian police during search operation in the Sopore area of Baramulla district.
Another youth identified as Waseem Ahmad Malik, resident of Gundpora Rampura, Bandipora, was arrested by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in the Nadihal area of Bandipora district.
Indian police officials have claimed that the detainees were over ground workers. However, such arrests are frequently used in IIOJK as part of the Indian regime’s broader strategy to suppress dissent and silence political voices advocating for freedom in the territory.
