APHC-AJK delegation meets custodian of Bari Imam shrine Pir Syed Haider Ali Shah
Islamabad: A delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter met with Pir Syed Haider Ali Shah Gilani, the Sajada Nasheen (custodian) of Bari Imam Shrine.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC-AJK delegation was led by General Secretary Advocate Pervez Ahmed Shah. Bari Imam Sarkar Media Coordinator Syed Hasnain Bukhari was also present during the meeting.
The APHC-AJK delegation apprised Pir Syed Haider Ali about the deteriorating situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, including the ongoing killings, arrests, and other oppressive measures by India. They also discussed the Modi government’s nefarious designs to convert the Muslim majority in the occupied territory into a minority.
Pir Syed Haider Ali expressed deep concern over the ongoing atrocities in Kashmir and strongly condemned all illegal and unconstitutional actions by India. He urged the United Nations and Islamic countries to pressurize India to end the oppression against unarmed Kashmiris. He further stated that India should immediately cease its brutalities and grant Kashmiris their birthright to self-determination.
The Hurriyat delegation also included, Information Secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Ijaz Rahmani, Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Imtiaz Wani, Zahid Mushtaq, Ashraf Dar, and Sheikh Majid.
