Srinagar: Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam mourns demise of educationist Abdul Rehman Latoo

Srinagar: The Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam, led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Abdul Rehman Latoo, a distinguished educationist from Ashajipora, Bijbehara in Islamabad district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Latoo, a key member of the Islamic School Bijbehara and the Nusrat-ul-Islam Trust Ashajipora, dedicated his life to advancing the educational mission of the Anjuman throughout the district.

The Anjuman’s condolence message highlighted Latoo’s tireless efforts and deep-rooted connection with the Mirwaiz family, noting that his family had been devoted admirers for centuries.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and the Anjuman’s members described Latoo’s passing as a significant loss, honoring his contributions to education and social service. They prayed for his forgiveness, a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and strength for his grieving family.

In a gesture of solidarity, Nazir Ahmad Sofi, a central official of the Nusrat-ul-Islam Trust, led a delegation to Latoo’s home in Mominabad Ashajipora. They participated in the funeral prayers and delivered heartfelt condolences and messages from Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to the bereaved family.

Additionally, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq conveyed his condolences over the death of Sanaullah from Gotli Bagh, Ganderbal. He extended his sympathies to the deceased’s family and friends, praying for Jannat al-Firdous and patience for those mourning his loss.
