IAF MiG-29 fighter jet crashes in Rajasthan

Barmer, Rajasthan: In a disturbing trend that continues to plague the Indian military, a MiG-29 fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in Barmer, Rajasthan during a routine night training mission.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the pilot ejected safely and there were no reports of casualties or damage to property on the ground.

The crash occurred away from populated areas, and a Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the incident.
