APHC-AJK holds seminar to pay tributes to martyrs of 1965 Pakistan-India war
Islamabad: A seminar was held in Islamabad, today, under the leadership of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter Convener Ghulam Mohammad Safi to pay tributes to the martyrs of the 1965 Pakistan-India war.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Lt Gen (Retd) Raza Muhammad Khan was chief guest on the occasion while Hurriyat leadership and people from different schools of thought participated in the ceremony.
In the ceremony, tributes were paid to the great martyrs of 1965 war, who sacrificed their lives to protect their motherland and destroyed the evil intentions of the enemy.
The speakers said September 6, “Pakistan Defense Day”, is an eternal story of bravery, love and devotion to Pakistan.
They said that India launched a cowardly attack on Pakistan on September 6, 1965 in the dark of night, but it had to face the brave forces and zealous people of Pakistan.
They added that a strong, stable and prosperous Pakistan would not only bring peace and security in the region but it is also the guarantor of the freedom movement of the Kashmiri people.
APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Mohammad Safi addressing the ceremony said the Hurriyat Conference does not accept any agreement or dialogue that does not involve Kashmiris.
At the end, prayers were offered for the martyrs of September, for their high status and for the prosperity and stability of Pakistan.
