Indian BSF man commits suicide in Tripura
Agartala: An Indian Border Security Force (BSF) man has committed suicide in Tripura state of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a 40-year-old Border Security Force (BSF) man, B Arun Dilip, took his life by shooting himself with his service rifle during duty hours near the India-Bangladesh border in Kamalpur of Dhalai district of the state. He was immediately rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries despite medical intervention.
The Tripura police are probing the possibility of suicide but have not ruled out other potential scenarios, the Indian police in a media statement said.
