Man dies after falling from a walnut tree in Budgam
Srinagar: A middle-aged man hailing from Budgam district died after falling from a walnut tree.
Accorsing to Kashmir Media Service, the incident occurred in the Khag area of the district. The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Abdul Hameed Sheikh, son of Abdul Rahman, a resident of Malik Mohalla Khag.
Local officials while talking to media revealed that Sheikh received grievous injuries after the fall and was rushed to a nearby hospital for first aid, where he was later referred to JVC Bemina for further treatment.
The doctors at JVC Bemina declared him “brought dead on arrival.”
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law.
