Eight more Indian troops injured in another IIOJK road ‘accident’
Srinagar: At least eight more Indian forces’ personnel were injured in another road ‘accident’ in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, marking the second consecutive day of such incidents.
According to Kashmir Media Service, eight troops were injured when their bus, en route to Kokernag town, overturned in Dudkul area of the district on Wednesday evening.
An Indian police official confirmed that eight troops were injured and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Earlier, one Indian army commando was killed and five others were injured when their vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in Mankote area of Rajouri, in a separate road accident. The commandos were on counterinsurgency duty when the accident occurred.
