Budgam shuts against assassination of Hassan Nasrallah
Srinagar: A shutdown was observed in various parts of Kashmir valley, including Budgam, against the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
According to Kashmir Media Service, locals told the media that shops and business establishments remained closed as a mark of solidarity, with protests intensifying across the region.
Throughout the weekend, rallies were held in Budgam and Srinagar, condemning Israeli aggression in Gaza and Lebanon.
The protests have seen significant participation, who have been calling for an end to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes.
Hassan Nasrallah was killed in a large-scale Israeli airstrike on Beirut on Friday evening, sparking outrage and mourning across several regions, including Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
