APHC-AJK welcomes observance of Palestine Unity Day by all political, religious parties of Pakistan
Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has welcomed the observance of Palestine Unity Day at the national level by all the political and religious parties of Pakistan.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC-AJK in a meeting held under the chairmanship of convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi in Islamabad, today, congratulated all the political, religious and social parties of Pakistan for unanimously observing Palestine Solidarity Day and termed it as a very positive initiative.
It expressed the hope that it would bring political stability in Pakistan and establish an atmosphere of brotherhood and also promote unity and harmony at all levels in the entire country.
The APHC-AJK leadership hoped that just as all the political and religious parties of Pakistan have come together on the issue of Palestine, today, in the same way they will unite on other issues of the Ummah, especially Kashmir.
The Hurriyat leadership said that the Kashmir dispute is currently at a critical stage. “The Muslim identity of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir is being removed. In Kashmir. The property, life, religion and faith of Muslims are in danger. The demography there is being changed with great speed as lakhs of non-state residents are being resettled in Kashmir and Hinduism is being propagated in Madrasas, schools and colleges,” it deplored.
It said this serious situation demands that united and organized action should be taken to resolve the dispute in a dignified and peaceful manner and in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
