Mysterious fire damages properties in Gurez, Bandipora
Srinagar: Mysterious devastating fire broke out in Tulail Gurez area of Bandipora district in occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday evening, causing significant damage to properties.
According to Kshmir Media Service, the blaze destroyed over half a dozen shops and residential houses. Firefighters are working to contain the fire, but further details are still awaited.
Reports suggest that the Indian army may be behind the incident, aiming to intimidate and damage properties of those who voted against the BJP candidate in the recent assembly election.
Huge sums of money were spent by the Indian army and BJP/RSS to support their candidate in Gurez.
Indian Defence Minister Raj Nath and RSS/BJP leader Ram Madhav visited the area, utilizing their influence and resources to sway voters.
