Indian troops launch massive CASOs in Poonch, Rajouri
Jammu: Indian troops have launched massive cordon and search operations (CASOs) in Poonch and Rajouri districts of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the operations is being carried out jointly by Indian military and paramilitary personnel at Mohri Shahstar in Gursai Top area of Poonch district.
Indian police officials claimed that the operation was started following reports of the presence of mujahideen in the area. The operation employs advanced technology, including drones and sniffer dogs, with helicopters also deployed to assist in the troops.
In Rajouri district, the officials said Indian forces’ personnel launched a search operation at Kundan and adjoining villages in Shadra Sharief area of the district.
