Srinagar Airport on high alert following hoax bomb threat
Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a high alert was issued at Srinagar Airport today after authorities received a hoax call regarding a bomb threat.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the call was received at the Srinagar airport about a bomb in the Indigo flight that had arrived from Mumbai.
The call prompted a thorough search of the aircraft, which was scheduled to depart for Delhi via Jammu at approximately 5:20 PM.
“However, it turned out to be a hoax”, a senior official from the Airport Authority of India said.
