Army van comes under attack in Akhnoor, IIOJK
Jammu: An Indian Army vehicle was fired upon in Bhattal area of Khour in Akhnoor district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian Army launched a Chase and Search Opoertion in the area on Monday morning in the Akhnoor sector. Indian Army has claimed the presence of some suspected persons in the area.
Officials said that a few gunshots were heard in the forward village when an Army ambulance was passing through.
Army troops along with the police have cordoned off the village and adjoining areas and an operation is underway to trace and neutralize the suspected persons in the area, the officials said.
