IIOJK people have not accepted Aug 5, 2019 action: Omar Abdullah

Srinagar: Puppet chief minister of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has catagerocially stated that Kashmiri people have not accepted the revocation of Article 370.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Omar Abdullah in address in the IIOJK assembly asaid “The reality is that the people of J&K have not endorsed the decision of August 5, 2019.”

In his concluding remarks, Abdullah took a direct stance on the broader sentiment within the assembly regarding the August 5 decision. “This assembly reflects the aspirations of the people of [occupied] Jammu and Kashmir. The reality is that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have not endorsed the decisions made on August 5, 2019. If they had, the results would have been different. Many of those seated on this side (treasury benches) have not accepted that decision either,” he asserted.

Omar Abdullah emphasized that if the people had truly accepted the decision to revoke Article 370 and abrogate occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s special status, the political landscape and election results would have looked different.
