APHC-AJK pays tributes to Sheikh Abdul Hameed, Aali Kadal martyrs
Islamabad: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter (APHC-AJK) has paid rich tribute to Sheikh Abdul Hameed and the martyrs of Aali Kadal on their martyrdom anniversary.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a prayer meeting was held in Islamabad under the leadership of APHC-AJK chapter Convener Ghulam Muhammad Safi, in which tributes were paid to the sacrifices of Sheikh Abdul Hameed and the Ali Kadal martyr for the freedom movement.
Speakers on the occasion said the services of Sheikh Abdul Hameed for the freedom movement can never be forgotten. They said Sheikh Abdul Hameed breathed a new spirit into the freedom struggle and the Kashmir dispute has become the centre of attention at the global level due to the sacrifices of the martyrs.
They said the Kashmiri people will continue their struggle at any cost till the completion of the mission of Sheikh Abdul Hameed, martyrs of Ali Kadal and all the Kashmiri martyrs.
On the occasion, prayers were also offered for the high status of the sister-in-law of senior APHC-AJK leader Muhammad Farooq Rahmani, who died yesterday in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The participants of the meeting expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the aggrieved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Besides others, Muhammad Farooq Rahmani, Mahmood Ahmed Saghar, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Advocate Parvaiz Ahmed, Syed Yusuf Naseem, Mushtaq Ahmed Butt, Imtiaz Wani, Javaid Iqbal Butt, Nisar Mirza, Raja Khadim Hussain, Haji Sultan Butt, Syed Gulshan Ahmed, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Sheikh Abdul Majid and Shaukat Hussain Butt also participated in the meeting.
