Indian CRPF man commits suicide in Shopian
Srinagar: An Indian Central Reserve Police Force man committed suicide in Shopian, Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the CRPF man identified as Param Veer of 178 Battalion shot himself to death with his service rifle at the Horticulture farm Zainapora area of the district.
This incident is not an isolated one, as a total of 613 Indian forces’ personnel have taken their lives in the occupied territory since January 2007.
On the other hand, a 24-year-old Indian army man CT Satnam Singh, died after his rifle went off accidentally in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district.
Meanwhile, the body of a Village Defense Guards (VDG) member was found under mysterious circumstances, along with his rifle, in the forests of Chapper area in Udhampur district on Tuesday.
