CRPF constable dies, 5 injured in Udhampur road accidents
Jammu: An Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constable was killed and several others injured in two separate road accidents in Udhampur district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a CRPF constable was knocked to death by a car near Omara Morh area of the district.
According to the police report, a Baleno car bearing registration No JK14A-1728 hit a CRPF man of 137- Bn near Omara Morh Udhampur. Locals rushed to the spot and took the injured person to District Hospital, Udhampur, where doctors declared him dead.
The deceased was identified as constable Sandeep Singh, an resident of Bidola, district Bhiwani of Haryana state, India. Udhampur Police arrested the driver of the Baleno car and registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, in another road mishap, five persons were injured when a mini-bus rolled down into a gorge at Supply Morh near AT Gate in the same district.
