Tuberculosis claims 748 lives in two years in IIOJK
Srinagar: Tuberculosis has claimed the lives of 748 patients in two year in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the data shared by the Indian Minister for Health and Family Welfare in the lower house of the Indian parliament, 11754 tuberculosis cases were reported in 2023 while as in 2024, 10442 cases have already been reported till October 30 in the occupied territory.
The Indian Health Minister, Jagat Prakash Nadda, said that in 2023, tuberculosis claimed the lives of 435 patients in IIOJK. By the end of October 2024, the occupied territory had recorded 313 deaths.
