Indian troops launch massive CASO in Kathua
Jammu: Indian troops have launched a large-scale cordon and search operation in Kathua district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation, led by Indian army’s special forces in coordination with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and police, began in the Billawar area of the district.
Indian officials stated that the operation was initiated after receiving intelligence reports about the presence of suspicious elements in the area, adding the forces’ personnel have cordoned off the area and are conducting extensive searches to track down the suspects. Local residents have been instructed to stay indoors and cooperate with the authorities.
Additional reinforcements have been deployed in the area as the operation continues.
