Indian forces kill two tribal women in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Indian forces personnel killed two tribal women in disturbed Chhattisgarh state.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the wo women were killed during a cordon and search operation by the Indian CRPF’s elite Commando Battalion for Resolute Action in Gariaband district of the state.

Meanwhile, in an ongoing encounter at the Chhattisgarh-Odisha border, 14 Naxalites, including a leader with a ₹1 crore bounty on their head, were killed, highlighting the state’s increasing use of force against dissent.

This state-sponsored violence mirrors India’s growing authoritarianism, which often targets minorities and suppresses opposition. While Prime Minister Modi’s BJP and RSS claim to uphold democratic values, their policies continue to systematically violate minority rights, employing brutal tactics to crush dissent. The international community must not overlook this hypocrisy and the ongoing assault on human rights under the guise of security.
