Three more cases of mysterious illness reported in Rajouri
Jammu: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, three new cases of a mysterious illness have surfaced in the Badhaal area of Rajouri district in Jammu, prompting the relatives to shift the affected individuals to hospital for treatment.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Aijaz Ahmad, a 25-year-old resident, exhibited symptoms of the unknown ailment on Tuesday. He was initially taken to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and later referred to Chandigarh for further treatment.
Today, two additional cases with similar symptoms were reported in the area. Both patients are also being shifted to hospital for treatment.
Notably, 17 individuals have succumbed to this mysterious illness in the past 50 days, with authorities still unable to determine the cause of the deaths.
Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Budhal, Javed Iqbal Choudhary expressed frustration over the delay in arranging swift medical evacuation. Villagers have criticized the authorities for their indifference, accusing them of ignoring the dire healthcare needs of Badhaal despite repeated tragedies.
The incidents have amplified calls for improved medical infrastructure and prompt action in remote areas like Badhaal to prevent further loss of lives.
