IIOJK authorities arrest three under draconian PSA in Kathua

Jammu: Indian police have detained three persons under the draconian Public Safety Act (PSA) in Kathua district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, one of the detainees has been identified as Mohammad Rafiq, a resident of Ghar Malti in Kathua.

The police accused them of being a “threat to public peace and tranquility”. Justifying the arrests, the police labeled the detained youth as over-ground workers (OGWs) supporting the ongoing freedom struggle. Such pretexts are often used to silence voices resisting India’s illegal occupation.

The detainees have been shifted to separate jails in Jammu, Rajouri, and Udhampur.
