Punjab govt releases special song on Kashmir Solidarity Day

Lahore: On the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Punjab Government has released a special patriotic song titled to show solidarity with the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the song, ‘Hum Ko Kashmir Se Pyar Hai,’ features renowned singers Natasha Baig, Ghulam Ali Khan, Shahzaib Ali, and Izhaar Ali Abro, who hail from Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Sindh. The lyrics of the song were written by Ahmed Nawaz, who also composed the music. The masterpiece was brought to life with the collaboration of talented artists, including Nawazish Nasiri from Quetta, a skilled rubab player, and Ali Imran from Peshawar, a skilled musician.

This unique song represents a collective expression of solidarity from artists across Pakistan, reflecting the heartfelt emotions of the entire nation in support of their Kashmiri brothers and sisters. The song is a symbol of national unity and an affirmation of support for the people of Kashmir in their struggle for justice. The song was sponsored by the Punjab Government and produced by East Media Communications.

Meanwhile, Kashmir Center Lahore and Human Rights Society of Pakistan organized a signature campaign to express solidarity with oppressed people of IIOJK. A large number of leaders and citizens of various political and social parties and representatives of civil society, women and children participated in the signature campaign. A solidarity rally was also held on this occasion at Mall Road.

Former Minister AJK Nasir Dar, former MNA Kiran Dar, President Human Rights Society of Pakistan Syed Asim Zafar, Secretary General AM Shakuri, President Women League PML-N Zarqa Javed, President Wukla Muhaaz Zahid Aslam Khan, Advocate Manzoor Geelani, Tanveer Abbas Tabish, Barrister Ishtiaq Chaudhry, Former Parliamentary Secretary Dr. Farzana Nazir,Leader PPP Ghulam Abbas Mir, Raja Shahzad,Bilal Butt, Farooq Azad, Mirza Abdul Rasheed Advocate, Raja Jabbar Advocate and others addressed the rally.
