APHC-AJK welcomes Turkey’s unwavering support for Kashmiris’ rights
Islamabad: All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) has welcomed Turkey’s unwavering support for the right to self-determination of Kashmiris.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC-AJK Convener Ghulam Muhamad Safi, Chairman of Kashmir Institute of International Relations Altaf Hussain Wani and other AJK leaders, including Mehmood Ahmed Saghar and Shameem Shawl in their separate statements hailed Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his clear-cut support for the Kashmir cause during his visit to Pakistan.
They said President Erdoğan’s remarks during the joint press conference highlight the importance of solidarity among nations in the face of oppression. They said his acknowledgment of the resilience and struggle of the Kashmiri people resonates deeply with our aspirations for peace, dignity and self-determination.
“We are encouraged by Turkey’s commitment to raising awareness about the Kashmir dispute on international platforms and advocating for a just resolution that respects the will of the Kashmiri people,” they added.
They also condemned the humanitarian crisis faced by the people of Palestine, saying the plight of Palestinians is a stark reminder of the urgent need for collective action to uphold human rights and ensure justice.
“We stand in solidarity with our Palestinian brothers and sisters and appreciate Turkey’s advocacy for a fair and lasting solution based on the principles of justice and equality,” they maintained.
