One dead, several injured in Jammu road accident

Jammu: A driver was killed and a dozen passengers were injured when the bus they were traveling in met with an accident in Jammu district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the accident occurred when a passenger bus carrying Hindu pilgrims from Katra to Delhi fell into a gorge near Manda Naka, Panthirti area of the district.

Officials said the injured were shifted to GMC Jammu, and efforts are ongoing to retrieve the body of the driver
