Karra slams reduction in development schemes for IIOJK

Srinagar: As against tall claims of Modi-led Indian government, Congress IIOJK chief Tariq Karra has criticized huge reduction in development schemes for the occupied territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, speaking to the media in Srinagar, Karra cautioned that the reduced allocations would hinder the government’s ability to meet expectations and fulfill its planned initiatives. He emphasized the need for adequate financial support to ensure the effective implementation of developmental programs in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Karra also criticized the use of use of derogatory language in the assembly, stressing that the choice of words must be made carefully.

Karra urged patience, stating that the upcoming budget for 2025-26 would be the real indicator of future financial planning.
