Kashmiri people primary stakeholders in Kashmir dispute, must be included in dialogue: President AJK
Muzaffarabad: The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, has emphasized that the Kashmiri people are the primary stakeholders in the Kashmir dispute and must be included in any future Pakistan-India dialogue.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Barrister Sultan while addressing a press conference in Muzaffarabad stated that India is committing state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, while religious minorities in India are also suffering under Narendra Modi’s oppressive policies. He asserted that India is not the world’s largest democracy but rather a Hindu dictatorship.
He highlighted that Modi’s government is following the Hindutva ideology and has emerged as a global terrorist. He referred to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s statements in the Canadian Parliament, where undeniable evidence of India’s involvement in terrorism was presented, proving India’s status as a global terrorist state.
The AJK President pointed out that India’s terrorist activities have been widely condemned worldwide. He also expressed concern over India’s demographic engineering in IIOJK since August 5, 2019, aimed at erasing the Kashmir issue and fully annexing the occupied territory. However, he vowed that the Kashmiri people will never allow India to succeed in its nefarious designs.
Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry expressed confidence that his recent visits to the UK and the US will have long-term positive impacts. He reassured the people of IIOJK that Kashmiri diaspora worldwide stand in solidarity with their struggle. He reaffirmed that overseas Kashmiris are playing a vital role in bringing the voices of the oppressed Kashmiris to the international community.
He concluded by stating that the day is not far when IIOJK will be liberated from India’s brutal and illegal occupation.
