BJP govt’s failure in Rajasthan leads to rising inequality, communal violence

Jaipur: The BJP-led Rajasthan government is facing severe criticism over its failure to address growing inequality, communal tensions and deepening economic crisis in the state.

According to Kashmir Media Service, marginalized communities, including Muslims, Christians, Dalits and Other Backward Classes (OBCs), are the most affected segments of the society as a result of the government policies amid rising hate crimes, land degradation and unemployment.

Communal tensions have surged in districts such as Karauli, Udaipur, and Ajmer, with incidents of mob violence, lynching, and demolition of minority religious sites.

Meanwhile, women in the state continue to face high rates of gender-based crimes, with no notice from authorities.

Rural Rajasthan is also grappling with severe economic distress. Farmers in Alwar, Dausa, and Jaisalmer face worsening water scarcity and land degradation, yet the government has failed to provide sustainable solutions.

Social conflicts between Jats, Rajputs, Dalits and Muslims in key regions such as Sikar, Jhunjhunu, and Barmer continue to escalate. Instead of addressing these pressing issues, the BJP government has prioritized big businesses while ignoring grassroots development.
