Fake news watchdog exposes Indian media’s links with banned terror outfit BLA

Islamabad: A fake news watchdog has uncovered the Indian media’s link with the US-designated terrorist organization, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), exposing how Indian outlets have been using fake videos as breaking news to push an anti-Pakistan narrative.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the revelation has confirmed long-standing notion that Indian media serves as a propaganda tool for anti-Pakistan elements, disregarding journalistic integrity and international laws. The watchdog reported that several Indian news channels aired doctored footage, falsely attributing it to Pakistan to malign its security institutions. These videos, originating from BLA-linked sources, were later debunked as fabricated content designed to fuel instability.

This blatant dissemination of terrorist propaganda raises serious legal and ethical concerns. Experts argue that by supporting the voices of a banned terror group, Indian media is not just engaging in spreading fake news but also violating international counterterrorism norms.

“When ‘breaking news’ is actually ‘breaking the law’—Indian media has been caught red-handed spreading banned terror propaganda,” said a media analyst.

Observers urged global regulatory bodies to hold Indian media accountable for promoting terrorist narratives, warning that such reckless actions could have grave consequences for regional stability.
