Orchard land property of another Kashmiri seized in IOJK

Srinagar: The New Delhi-appointed administration, led by the Lieutenant Governor, has seized yet another property belonging to a Kashmiri civilian in Kupwara district of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian police have attached immovable property viz. agricultural land measuring 5 Kanal and 3 Marlas, owned by Ghulam Rasool Shah, a resident of Peer Mohalla Chandigam Lolab under the draconian Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

Since the abrogation of IIOJK’s special status in August 2019, the Indian BJP government has intensified its campaign to dispossess Kashmiris of their homes and lands. This policy is aimed at economically weakening the people of Kashmir.
