India distorts Pakistan Army Chief’s nuclear deterrence statement

Islamabad: India is desperately distorting and misrepresenting the remarks made by Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Asim Munir, during his recent address to the Pakistani community in United States of America.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Field Marshal Munir unequivocally stated that Pakistan remains prepared to deploy nuclear weapons if confronted with an existential threat – a principle firmly enshrined in Pakistan’s nuclear doctrine and acknowledged internationally as a legitimate deterrence strategy.

Instead of understanding this measured and defensive posture, India has launched an orchestrated propaganda campaign, recklessly provoking Pakistan in hopes of forcing a misstep. Despite persistent Indian aggression and calculated provocations, Pakistan has exercised restraint, responding only with precision, discipline, and effective strategic countermeasures.

India brazenly claims it will not be intimidated or ‘blackmailed’ by Pakistan’s nuclear deterrent, repeatedly testing the limits of Pakistan’s patience. However, US President Donald Trump publicly admitted on several occasions that he intervened to prevent a nuclear conflict between the two nations – directly contradicting India’s denials and fabricated narratives over past Indo-Pak stand-offs.

Observers warn that under Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has severely undermined its global credibility through reckless and irrational miscalculations about Pakistan’s strategic capabilities. New Delhi’s continued provocations, they caution, are not only a threat to regional peace and stability but also endanger world peace.
