Kyiv: The Office of the Ukrainian President has revealed damning evidence that Indian-manufactured components have been discovered in Russian drones deployed to strike civilian areas and critical infrastructure in Ukraine, exposing India’s tacit role in fueling Moscow’s war machine.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Ukrainian officials said, the drones—used to attack residential neighborhoods, transport hubs, and energy facilities—have caused widespread destruction, civilian casualties, and deepening humanitarian suffering. The discovery of Indian parts in these deadly weapons raises urgent ethical and geopolitical questions about New Delhi’s claims of neutrality in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Despite projecting itself as a non-aligned global actor, the Modi-led government’s economic and strategic engagements with Russia appear to be enabling aggression against a sovereign nation. Analysts warn that India’s silence and lack of accountability in the face of such revelations amount to tacit complicity, undermining its international credibility and moral standing.
Critics say the incident lays bare the contradiction in India’s foreign policy—prioritizing trade and strategic partnerships over human rights and global norms. “This war is devastating communities and killing innocents, yet New Delhi seems unmoved,” remarked one political observer. “Modi’s government is proving that in the current global crisis, no one is truly a friend when national interests overshadow moral responsibility.”
