Islamabad: Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir People’s Freedom League and senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter Muhammad Farooq Rehmani has expressed profound grief over death of hundreds of citizens and loss of property, orchards and fields washed away in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan and elsewhere across Pakistan caused by flash floods and torrential monsoon rains.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Muhammad Farooq Rehmani in a statement in Islamabad said Pakistan is facing trials and tribulations due to global warming and glaciers melting.

He appealed to the government and relief organisations to implement a robust plan of lending complete help to the sufferers of the latest flash floods.

He hoped that the government and the United Nations agencies would join hands to work out the UN global warming plan in the country.
