Islamabad: Speakers at a webinar hosted by the “J&K Accession to Pakistan Forum” urged the international community to address ongoing atrocities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and press India to grant Kashmiris their right to join Pakistan, saying India violated the 1947 partition formula by landing troops in Srinagar.

According to Kashmir Media Service, former AJK Minister Ms. Farzana Yaqoob said India’s decision to initiate war in 2025 was a strategic miscalculation that ended in humiliating defeat. “Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos shattered India’s pride.

It was a grave miscalculation by Narendra Modi to think he could suppress Pakistan through false-flag operations,” she stated, adding that the operation bolstered national morale and showcased Pakistan as a resilient power.

Scholar Ms. Naila Altaf said Pakistan’s victory in the 2025 Marka-e-Haq conflict demonstrated military superiority and earned greater global recognition. “Following its decisive victory in the four-day conflict, Pakistan has emerged as a global proponent of peace,” she said, noting that the May 2025 confrontation proved the unresolved Kashmir dispute remains the root cause of Pakistan-India tensions.

Ms. Soma Aslam, a scholar on Kashmir, said the Indian ‘Instrument of Accession’ is fraudulent and never accepted by Kashmiris. She noted that India’s 2025 false-flag operation in Pahalgam backfired by bringing the Kashmir issue back into the global spotlight.

Senior journalist Ashraf Wani said India faced extreme embarrassment after its defeat during Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, while Pakistan’s global standing continues to strengthen daily. “Pakistan is now increasingly viewed as a peacemaker in resolving global conflicts,” he remarked.

Nabi Baig, Chairman of the Forum, said the hearts of Kashmiris beat in unison with Pakistan. “India will ultimately have to yield to the unwavering resolve of the Kashmiri people and grant them their rightful accession to Pakistan,” he added.

Activist Raiees Mir said no amount of atrocity can suppress the spirit of Kashmiris. “Marka-e-Haq infused fresh energy and renewed determination into Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom,” he stated, adding that Pakistan’s triumph shattered India’s arrogance and proved Pakistan can neither be intimidated nor subdued.

Speakers maintained that a strong, prosperous Pakistan is must for Kashmir’s freedom from Indian occupation, and Kashmiris remain deeply grateful for Pakistan’s unwavering political, diplomatic, and moral support to their just struggle. They said the Marka-e-Haq remains a source of pride & joy for both Pakistanis & Kashmiris.
