Resistance a compulsion, not a choice for Kashmiris under Indian occupation

Srinagar: Hurriyat leaders and organizations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have lauded the unwavering resolve of the Kashmiri people, saying that no amount of killings, arrests, or torture can crush their spirit for freedom from Indian occupation.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the leaders said the people of Jammu and Kashmir have once again demonstrated that their struggle is not a matter of choice but a compulsion against India’s illegal and oppressive rule. They emphasized that Kashmiris are prepared to face bullets but will never bow before New Delhi’s tyranny.
The Hurriyat leaders maintained that the Modi regime cannot break the indomitable spirit of the freedom-loving Kashmiris, who remain united and resolute to foil India’s sinister designs. They said the courage of Kashmiris who refuse to accept Indian dominance will shine as a golden chapter in the history of the freedom movement.
They further stated that India’s continued military occupation of Jammu and Kashmir is not only a crime against the people but also a grave challenge to the conscience of the world community. “The dawn of freedom is near and Kashmir will not remain shackled forever,” they affirmed, adding that Kashmiris’ resistance will remain unbroken until liberation is achieved.
