India has activated stooges to defame Pakistan, freedom movement: APHC
Says BJP govt using draconian laws to suppress Kashmiris’ struggle

Srinagar: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed serious concern over the violent actions and use of draconian laws by the BJP-led Indian government in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to suppress the Kashmiris’ just struggle for the right to self-determination.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas, in a statement issued in Srinagar, strongly condemned the Modi-led BJP regime for attaching properties of Kashmiris. He said these attachments are part of India’s broader anti-Kashmiri policy.
He called upon international human rights organizations to urge India to end its victimization of the people of occupied Kashmir for demanding their UN-recognized right to self-determination.
The spokesman reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their struggle for freedom from Indian occupation. He urged India to honour its commitments and allow the Kashmiri people to decide their future themselves through the exercise of their right to self-determination.
The APHC said India has activated its stooges within and outside occupied Kashmir to defame Pakistan and the indigenous freedom movement of the Kashmiri people.
The statement said New Delhi has a habit of unleashing baseless propaganda against Pakistan and the Kashmiris’ just struggle. Through disinformation campaigns, India is trying to criminalize the Kashmiri resistance to its illegal occupation.
The spokesman deplored that the Narendra Modi-led government is using media, cyber-technology, and terrorism as major hybrid tools against Pakistan and the Kashmiris, attempting to equate the Kashmir freedom movement with terrorism through false-flag operations and orchestrated propaganda. He added that the anti-Pakistan and anti-Kashmiri campaigns have intensified rapidly since Hindutva-backed Manoj Sinha was installed as the LG of IIOJK.
The APHC said Pakistan has consistently raised its voice in support of the Kashmiris’ struggle for their UN-pledged right to self-determination for over seven decades. The statement added that Pakistan’s unwavering support has always served as a morale-booster for the Kashmiri people. “India is a known state-sponsor of terrorism and a promoter of anti-Pakistan propaganda. The BJP regime will fail in its machinations to defame Pakistan and the Kashmir freedom struggle,” it said.
The APHC urged the international community to recognize that the Hindutva-driven BJP regime poses a grave threat to peace and the fundamental freedoms of the people in IIOJK and the region.
